There is nothing better than a basket of hot, fresh tortilla chips and a bowl of homemade salsa. Pair it with my classic margarita for the perfect happy hour!
Restaurant-style Salsa
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 3 cups 1x
Description
Fresh, garlicky, a little spicy, and very easy.
Ingredients
Scale
- 28 oz can of whole tomatoes, drained
- 10 oz can of rotel (I use original)
- 1/2 red onion, quartered
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1/2 jalapeno (or more if you like it extra spicy!)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- handful of salsa
- salt to taste
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until everything is finely chopped. Taste for seasoning. I like to put it in the fridge for an hour or two before serving so they flavors can marry.
Notes
This recipe makes a lot! It’s great for a party or picnic.
