This homemade fudge is a quick and easy dessert. Rich and decadent, it’s perfect for a party dessert or a holiday gift.

- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, plus a tablespoon for the dish
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 heaping cup of chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Using an 8 in square baking dish, put a small dollop of butter on all sides. This will hold the parchment in place. Cut two pieces of parchment paper to fit criss crossed in your dish. Butter the inside of your dish
- In a medium sauce pan combine butter, sugar, marshmallows, cream and salt over medium heat, stirring until marshmallows are melted and everything combined.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla, chocolate chips and walnuts. Stir until melted.
- Once thoroughly combined, pour into your baking and refrigerate until set, about an hour.
- Cut into 16 squares and put back in the fridge until firm.
Notes
Make it festive! I added holiday sprinkles before chilling. Get creative with your nuts. Pecans, hazelnuts, would all work. Or no nuts at all!
