Sweet and crunchy, perfect end (or beginning!) to any meal.

- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. Brown sugar
- 3/4 c. Corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/3 c. Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 2 tbsp. Dark rum
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 c. Pecans
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 store bought pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- Spread your pecans in a single layer on a cookie sheet and toast in the oven for 7-8 minutes. Do not burn your pecans!
- When your pecans are done, set aside to cool and increase the oven temperature to 375°
- Whisk together all ingredients except the pecans and pie crust
- Lay your pie crust in a standard pie dish and prick the crust with a fork. Add your pecans
- Pour your wet ingredients over the pecans.
- Bake at 375 for 35-45 minutes until set and not jiggly.
