Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar, plus another 1/2 tbsp for dusting
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped, fresh cranberries
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Butter a 9×5 in loaf pan
  3. Stir together all dry ingredients
  4. Add the butter, sour cream, orange juice, orange zest, and egg
  5. Mix in the cranberries and walnuts
  6. Spread into your prepared pan
  7. Sprinkle the top with sugar (about 1/2 tbsp)
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
